2014 Almond Pollination

The Doncaster Beeclub is arranging a field trip to the almond pollination fields in Robinvale on the 16th & 17th August 2014.

If you would like to see and learn first hand about Australia’s  largest crop pollination program, where approximately 145,000 bee hives  are used for pollination, then this is a trip not to be missed, cost is $180.00 per person

The field trip includes:

  • Over night accomodation in Swan Hill
  • A river boat cruise
  • Dinner
  • All coach travel
  • Avocado and Almond plantation inspections
  • A visit to the Robinvale Blossom Festival, free food, wine tastings and lunch
